From 16 to 18 May 2024, Xinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Centre welcomed an international industrial event – the 2024 Central Asia (Xinjiang) Industrial Expo. The event, which is supported by the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region government, aims to promote a new era of equipment manufacturing along the Belt and Road in the five Central Asian countries.
The 2024 One Belt One Road Industrial Expo in Central Asia is grand in scale, with an exhibition area of more than 20,000 square meters, bringing together exhibitors from more than 400 companies and more than 1,000 brands. The exhibits covered a wide range of fields such as CNC machine tools, industrial automation, robotics, laser cutting, laser welding, intelligent manufacturing, rubber, plastic and packaging, casting, bearings, hardware machinery and electronics, molds, fasteners, intelligent logistics, industrial Internet and so on.
Hundreds of well-known enterprises and tens of thousands of professional visitors from all over the world gathered together, and exhibitors have displayed their latest products, equipment, intelligent manufacturing technology and solutions, providing a full range of products and services for industry users and visitors. This industrial exhibition provides participating enterprises with the opportunity to find partners and expand the market, and at the same time, it also provides a platform for professional visitors to understand the industry dynamics and purchase high-quality products.
This Central Asia (Xinjiang) industrial expo has a wide range of exhibits, mainly focusing on the manufacturing field, covering all kinds of advanced technology and equipment. At this year’s exhibition, modern industrial equipment such as CNC machine tools, industrial robots, and laser equipment were the main exhibits, with 70% of the participating companies showcasing these products. These items were also the primary focus of procurement discussions during the event. Dapeng Laser was one of the prominent exhibitors, and by the end of the exhibition, all of their showcased laser welding and laser cutting machines were sold out.
Xinjiang Dapeng Laser Technology Co., Ltd. drew significant attention at the Central Asia Industrial Expo 2024. Their staff demonstrated the operation of laser cutting equipment on-site. As a company dedicated to developing and manufacturing laser welding and laser tube cutting equipment, Dapeng Laser showcased their self-designed handheld laser welding technology. Unlike traditional welding, which requires extensive training, the handheld laser welding device can be mastered in just 30 minutes, producing smooth, seamless welds. These laser welding devices are widely used in Xinjiang’s industrial sector and are successfully exported to Central Asian countries.
Additionally, at the exhibition, Dapeng Laser’s on-site engineer demonstrated our company’s independently developed fiber laser cutting machine. By inputting designs and parameters into the control panel, the machine quickly starts and can cut various shapes, including intricate patterns like flowers, from steel plates within seconds. This high-speed, high-precision cutting technology significantly enhances production efficiency and quality in the metal processing industry, offering new possibilities for industrial production and sheet metal fabrication.
Yang Chunhai, business manager of Dapeng Laser, said that the laser cutting, laser welding, laser cleaning and other equipment we displayed at this expo are leading products, and sales performance in Xinjiang and overseas markets have achieved satisfactory results, and last year’s overseas sales reached the level of ten million.
The Expo brings together a series of advanced industrial technologies and products, covering a wide range of fields from high-end CNC machine tools to intelligent manufacturing equipment, and from new materials to energy-saving and environmental protection technologies. The expo is not only a platform for product display, but will also host activities such as theme forums, technical seminars and business negotiations. Experts and scholars from the five Central Asian chambers of commerce and industry elites will gather together to discuss hot topics of industrial cooperation, share successful experiences and make suggestions for promoting regional economic development.
